The Sonic the Hedgehog series has a new collaboration on the horizon with the mobile game Ulala: Idle Adventure.
The crossover will feature a playable Sonic the Hedgehog, as well as commemorative icons and costumes for the blur blur and his arch-enemy, Doctor Eggman.
In the special story, Doctor Eggman created a special machine to teleport himself to the world of Ulala, and interfered with the repairs of the transporter. The player must come together to defend against Eggman’s attacks to help Sonic to return to his world.
The crossover was officially announced by the developer X.D. Global on 14 May, though an update in the Apple App Store was published today. Promotional artwork featured Sonic interacting with Ulala characters alongside the description for Ulala: Idle Adventure.
Ulala is a social, mobile idle game set in the stone age. You will become primitive, dressed in animal skin and basic equipment to get started in Ulala. Form a team with a friend to start your adventure in this dangerous world!

Six elements related to the crossover event were highlighted by the developer, with them being:
Sonic: Race Competition
- During the event, adventurers who meet the parkour opening conditions can participate in the parkour and redeem rewards at the parkour shop.
Naivety Exchange Season
- During the event, you can collect a certain amount of Happy Windmills to redeem rewards at the turn-in shop. Sonic series of limited costumes are waiting for you to get!
Naivety Sign-in
- During the event period, adventurers can sign in daily to receive generous rewards, up to a maximum of 10 times. You can get limited rewards!
Group Purchase Activity
- A series of super valuable giftpacks will be added to the group purchase store. Come see if anything catches your eye!
Total pearl consumption
- During the event period, adventurers who consume pearls at a certain level will be rewarded.
Sonic Greeting Card
- During the event period, a commemorative item will be distributed to all adventurers. Inside will be a message from Sonic to all adventurers.
The crossover event will last between 24 May to 22 June 2021.
