Merchandise for Ray, Fang and other characters made by Jakks Pacific and GE revealed

New merchandise featuring fan favourite characters have been unveiled by Jakks Pacific and Great Eastern Entertainment.

Listings related to new Sonic merchandise have been discovered, with products from Sonic’s global partner Jakks Pacific, and long time plush maker Great Eastern Entertainment.


Great Eastern Entertainment plushes

Plushie listings for Fang the Sniper (also known as Nack the Weasel), and E-102 Gamma have recently appeared on the official Great Eastern website. Official plushies of these characters are hard to come by, with the previous Fang the Sniper plush being a 1996 release for the Sonic the Fighters plush set, and Gamma being for 1998’s Sonic Adventure UFO Catcher plush set.

In an announcement that caught fans’ attention, the first ever plush for Ray the Flying Squirrel and the Jade Ghost Wisp have been discovered through a listing on Entertainment Earth. As part of a new wave of Sonic plushies, Modern Sonic and Mighty the Armadillo were also present.

The retailer said that the wave is expected to be released August 2022.

Sonic the Hedgehog Craftables

A newly found Amazon listing seemingly confirmed that a second series for the Sonic the Hedgehog Craftables is on the way.

With it, fans can recreate scenes from the games, with figures, objects and setting. Craftables for Amy, Knuckles, and two different poses for Sonic have been shown, with one of them celebrating the series’ 30th anniversary.

A release date has not been specified.
