UPDATE: The Sonic costume has been officially announced. Read the details here.
A Sonic the Hedgehog costume was found in a data mine and rumoured to appear in the hit game, Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout. Tails’ Channel has verified the authenticity of the data mine.
According to mesh information, the costume will be divided into two parts, top and bottom.

The Sonic the Hedgehog costume will be reportedly added to the Fall Guys shop on 14 October, with each part worth five crowns.
“If you have the [current update of Fall Guys] yourself on Steam you can see the same folder structure,” said Senor Dane, who spoke exclusively to Tails’ Channel. Dane also verified the Fall Guys data mine in a Unity resource file explorer. “Filtering the files by ‘Mesh’, a fancy way to say ‘3D model’, eventually shows the Sonic model”.
At the time of publication, the costume hasn’t been officially announced, but a press release is expected to happen momentarily.
This is the second time this year that Sonic was involved in a data mine leak. In April, Tails’ Channel learned of a new collaboration with free-to-play title Ninjala. The developers officially announced the collaboration in September.
As the second season of Fall Guys progresses, costumes of popular characters from different media are expected be revealed for the game.
