August 2020 episode of Sonic Station Live to coincide with Tokyo Game Show

New compilation album and a live painting expected to be unveiled

The September 2020 episode of Sonic Station Live will be broadcast as a part of SEGA’s upcoming online festivities during this year’s Tokyo Game Show, Sonic Channel confirmed Friday morning.

The Japanese-language broadcast, analogous to America’s Sonic Official, intend to unveil a new music compilation album, as well as a live painting. No major details concerning the franchise will be announced.

The online broadcast will coincide with SEGA and ATLUS at the online Tokyo Game Show. The two brands will feature their new and upcoming autumn games in a livestream on 25 September. Sonic is not expected to be featured due to the upcoming 30th anniversary in 2021.

The upcoming episode of Sonic Station Live will mark its 8th taping after it debuted to kick off the ill-fated “Sonic 2020” celebrations in February.

The upcoming broadcast will debut 26 September at 1:20 pm JST.
