Hidden deep within the website of SEGA’s Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania revealed that the iconic duo of Sonic the Hedgehog and Miles “Tails” Prower are going to be a part of the franchise’s newest title.
Presently, the two characters were not officially announced by SEGA. The official website’s “characters” section made no mention of either Sonic or Tails.
While nothing was confirmed, the findings hinted at a possibility that the duo may be planned to be playable in Banana Mania, unlike the franchise’s previous entry where the only bonus character from Sonic the Hedgehog was Sonic himself.
Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania was officially announced today as part of this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo. The upcoming title will be released for the Nintendo Switch, PC, and all presently-marketed PlayStation and Xbox platforms on 5 October.
