Economic uncertainty has placed SEGASammy, SEGA’s parent company, in an unusual situation.
In their recent outlook for fiscal year 2020, SEGA Sammy has warned their investors that, although the company saw strong earnings, their upcoming development schedule and releases could see delays if the pandemic is prolonged. In fact, SEGA Sammy already says that their digital schedule is “becoming delayed”.
The work-at-home situation was cited by SEGASammy as among the reasons behind the concern.
