A data mine of the latest Sonic Forces: Speed Battle update uncovered images of three new characters that have yet to be officially announced.
Sonic the Hedgehog will get a new jester-themed skin, as affirmed by a new render from SEGA HARDlight. The hedgehog will tout a design similar to the costume that he wore in the November 2023 calendar artwork from SEGA of Japan.
The other two characters were from the Angry Birds series, Red and Chuck. The 3D renders that were spotted implied a potential collaboration between Angry Birds and HARDlight, following a previous collaboration in Sonic Dash and Angry Birds Epic in 2015.
These characters are expected to debut in scheduled in-game events in Speed Battle, but the developer has yet to officially announce them.
