Paramount Pictures promised what appeared to be the long-awaited sneak preview of the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog movie mini-series, Knuckles, in an ad blitz for Paramount Plus during the 58th Super Bowl.
As Variety first reported late Tuesday, the campaign planned to feature eight spots to highlight the streamer’s slate of programming, such as The Tiger’s Apprentice, The Family Stallone, and The Chi before kick off.
During the game, viewers are expected to see spots for Halo, Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning, the UEFA Champions League, and a general ad that will tout Survivor and the Star Trek franchise.
The ads will be televised 11 February on the CBS Television Network in the United States, a subsidiary of Paramount, the parent company to Paramount Pictures and its streaming service.
