A new Sonic the Hedgehog title was teased for a 2022 release

If Sonic Origins or Sonic Colours Ultimate wasn’t enough to fulfill your hunger for Sonic, SEGA made sure you would get something to get excited about during the last minute of Sonic Central.

The inaugural episode of Sonic Central ended with a bang Thursday afternoon after it unveiled a teaser trailer for an unnamed project from Sonic Team.

The teaser featured the blur blur himself running around in a mysterious forest with a unique purple effect around him.

No release date has been announced other than the vague “2022”, nor a title for the brand new game.
