New Sonic Colours animation named “Rise of the Wisps” to debut this summer

A new Sonic the Hedgehog animation has been revealed, with Roger Craig Smith voicing the titular main character.

As part of the Sonic Central announcements, voice actor Roger Craig Smith confirmed Thursday afternoon that a new YouTube animation, named Sonic Colours: Rise of the Wisps, will be released this summer in order to celebrate the release of Sonic Colours Ultimate.

The animation will be released in two parts, and for the first time ever in Sonic’s YouTube animations, this one will feature a voice cast. Roger Craig Smith is back voicing Sonic the Hedgehog and Kate Higgins voicing Miles “Tails” Prower.

The first episode of Sonic Colours: Rise of the Wisps will be released this summer. It is still unknown when the second part will be released.
