Released to publications for Sonic’s 10th anniversary in 2001 by Sega Spain, the press kit contains a disc and a 36-page booklet which detailed the series’ cast of characters and Sonic Team themselves.
The disc, which took time to recover, contains screenshots and art from the games of the era, including the original source files for some of them.
Behind the release was AstroSeedP, a notable archivist within the Sonic community. He also helms the Sonic Video Archive, a library of Sonic promotional videos and media.
He worked with Tails’ Channel in the past too, uncovering hidden details across Sonic media.
