Sonic Superstars partners with Starlight Gaming, bringing fun to children in hospitals

The joint initiative with SEGA, Nintendo and Starlight Gaming aims to reduce stress and boost mood for hospitalized children through video games.

In partnership with Nintendo of America and Starlight Gaming, SEGA is making Sonic Superstars available on Nintendo Switch consoles in children’s hospitals across the US.

The game is set to be added to Starlight Gaming Kiosks from Spring 2024.

When a child becomes hospitalized, their world can feel uncertain and overwhelming. Starlight Gaming exists to reduce stress and help kids cope in an unfamiliar situation. Powered by Nintendo®, Starlight Gaming Stations and Handheld devices help reduce stress and boost mood. Designed to roll anywhere in the hospital, Starlight Gaming enables children to play from the comfort of their hospital bed or in a playroom to socialize with a group of kids.
