Sonic the Hedgehog 2 “extended preview” showcased at CineEurope

An exclusive extended preview of Paramount’s upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog 2 was reportedly showcased at 2021’s CineEurope.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2, the sequel to the video game adaptation hit, has received a first look at Paramount’s CineEurope presentation.

Reportedly an “extended preview”, it showcased a number of short unidentified scenes from the film, and it was highlighted by an attendee that the sequel’s humour and action will be both about “the same level” as in the first film.

It is not the first time that Sonic was previewed at a convention. The first movie had two exclusive trailers that were showcased at 2019’s CinemaCon that featured Jim Carrey, Ben Schwartz, James Marsden and Tika Sumpter.

It is not known when or if the preview is going be publicly showcased, but it is a sign for fans that the film’s promotion is beginning to heat up, and a trailer could be coming in the upcoming months.

The Sonic movie sequel were among the many films previewed by Paramount at the 30th running of CineEurope, an official convention by the International Union of Cinemas.
