After a very, very long time without any meaningful updates whatsoever, SEGA HARDlight surprised Sonic Dash 2 players by adding one more character from the Sonic franchise that managed to make it into the Boom universe: Vector the Crocodile.
As disclosed by HARDlight, unlocking Vector is not quite like the usual tokens system that players may be used to in the original Sonic Dash, but rather by simply destroying 2,500 enemies on the track.
“Vector joins Sonic Boom! Unlock the professional crime investigator by using his brand new singing power, Vector Projector, to destroy 2500 enemies on track!”

Vector rocks a unique ability as all characters in Sonic Dash 2: Sonic Boom do: swipe down to use Vector’s singing power and destroy enemies at a short distance.
