A new actor has joined the cast for the highly anticipated sequel, Sonic the Hedgehog 2.
In an Instagram post uploaded today, American actor Shemar Moore confirmed that he will be in the upcoming Sonic movie sequel.
Shemar Franklin Moore is known for playing Derek Morgan on Criminal Minds from 2005 to 2016. The Oakland, California native is also known for playing the lead character Daniel Harrelson Jr. in S.W.A.T., an action drama. Both shows were televised on CBS in the United States, owned by Paramount Pictures’ parent company, ViacomCBS.
Filming in Hawaii has been going on for a few days. It is reportedly expected to continue up until 25 June.
